2 c butter crisco
2 c sugar
2 eggs
2 c canned pumpkin
2 tsp vanilla
5 c flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
4 tsp cinnamon
2 tsp ground cloves
2 tsp ground nutmeg
1 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375. Cream together butter and sugar until smooth. Beat in the eggs one at a time. Add the pumpkin and vanilla, blend well. in a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, soda, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg and salt. add to the creamed mixture, stirring well. drop by spoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets. Bake for 10 -15 minutes. Ice with cream cheese icing.
