4 c. sliced cooking apples (4-6 med.)
(if very tart sweeten with 1/2 c. sugar)
1 T. lemon juice
1/3 c. sifted flour
1 c. uncooked oats (quick or old fashioned)
12 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/3 c. butter, melted

Directions:
Directions:
Place apples in shallow baking dish. Sprinkle with lemon juice. Combine dry ingredients and add melted butter. Mix until crumbly. Sprinkle crumb mixture on top of apples.

Bake in 375 oven, 30 minutes or until apples are tender. Serve warm or cold with ice cream or whipped topping.
