1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 egg
1 cup sugar
1 t. baking soda
1 t. cinnamon
1/4 t. salt
Dash of nutmeg
2 cups peeled, chopped apples
1/4 cups nuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together oil, egg & sugar. Add dry ingredients and mix well. Add apples & nuts. Mix well. Spread in 9x9 greased pan. Bake @ 350 for 45 min. Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream.

It would probably be good but I have never served it with ice cream or whipped cream. It was good by itself.
