5 apples
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup Dorsel's Seal of Ky. Flour
1 tsp cinnamon
1/8 tsp salt
1/2 cup soft butter or margarine (scant)
1 unbaked pie shell

Directions:
Directions:
Peel and slice thin, enough apples to fill the crust. Sift together the next 4 ingredients. Rub the butter into this until it is well blended, making a mixture of little lumps.
Arrange this evenly over the apples. Bake for 25 minutes in 400 oven and then 20 minutes ore more until done in 300 oven. Serve hot or cold with or without whipped or plain cream.
