2 c. head lettuce
2 c. endive
1 medium red or white sweet onion, thinly sliced
2 c. romaine
1 1/2 c. peas, cooked and drained
6 slices bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled
6 T. mayonnaise

Directions:
Directions:
Place 1/3 of greens in bowl and put on 2 tablespoons mayonnaise. Then 1/3 of peas, cheese and onion slices. Sprinkle 1 tablespoon of sugar over all. Add salt and freshly ground pepper. Repeat 2 more times, using all remaining ingredients. cover and chill at least 2 hours. Just before serving, toss with crumbled bacon.
