Ingredients:  
1 c. chopped onion
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
3 TB. oil or butter
2 c. milk
3 TB. flour
2 c. shredded cheddar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 -2c. cooked broccoli
pepper to taste
1-1/2 c. boiling water mixed with 2 cubes or teaspoons of beef or chicken bouillon

Directions:
Directions:
In large pot, sauté onion in fat until tender. Blend in flour and seasonings. Add milk, stirring constantly, and cooking slowly until thickened. Add cheese and cook until melted. Remove from heat and add broccoli and broth. Cook until heated through.
