Pecan Pie Squares Recipe

3 c. all purpose flour
1/4 c. + 2 T. sugar
3/4 c. margarine, softened
3/4 tsp. salt
4 eggs, slightly beaten
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. karo syrup
3 T. margarine, melted
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. chopped pecans

Heat oven to 350 and grease a cookie sheet. Beat together flour, sugar, margarine and salt on medium speed until crumbly. Press firmly into pan.
Mix all filling ingredients together, adding pecans last and pour over bake layer. Bake about 20 minutes til golden brown.
