1/2 cup corn syrup 2 cups brown sugar 1 cup butter 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar 5 quarts popped corn
Mix syrup, brown sugar, butter & cream tartar in saucepan. Boil 5 minute. Pour over popped corn. Spread on baking tray and bake at 225º for 1 hour, stirring every 10 minutes. Cool on wax paper. Break into chunks.
