Double Boiler
1 qt milk (minus 1/2 c. for thickening)
1 lb raisins
1 cube oleo
1/2 c. walnuts (chopped)
1/2 c. sugar

Thickening
4 egg yolks beaten
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
4 rounded Tabs. flour

Directions:
Have the thickening ready before the butter melts**

add the flour to the milk, beat with rotary beater, add egg yolks and sugar. Pour this slowly into the 'double boiler' part and stir constantly until very thick. Cool and pour into baked pie crusts.

Let cool completely
