2 cups flour
cup butter
2 eggs yolks
cup warm milk
1 Tbs. Sugar
1 pkg. Dry yeast, raised
tsp. Salt
1 egg, beaten
poppy seed filling

Directions:
Directions:
Work butter into flour. Mix egg yolks with milk, add sugar, raised yeast and salt; add to flour and butter mixture and work until smooth. Turn dough onto floured work surface and knead lightly. Roll out into 1/3-inch thickness; spread with poppy seed filling. Roll into a strudel and place on a greased baking sheet. Cover with cloth and let rise until double. Brush top with beaten egg and bake 350 F for about 45 minutes.
