2 pkg. Dry yeast
cup water, warm
6 cup flour
cup sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 cup butter
3 egg yolks beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1 (14 oz. ) evaporated milk
melted butter

Walnut filling:
2 cup walnuts ground
cup sugar
teaspoon cinnamon
1/3 cup evaporated milk

Poppyseed Filling:
1 cup poppyseed ground
cup sugar
1/3 cup evaporated milk
tsp. vanilla
raisins, if desired

Directions:
Directions:
Soften yeast in warm water. Combine flour, sugar, and salt in large bowl. Cut in butter. Mix in egg yolks, vanilla, milk and yeast. Shape to form a ball. Place in greased bowl. Let rise about 2 hours or until double in size. Combine filling ingredients. Roll out to about 18x20 inches. Cut in quarters and fill with of the filling. Roll up and place on ungreased jelly roll pan. Let rise until double in size. Brush with melted butter. Bake 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
