2 cups brown sugar
1 cup heavy cream
ĺ cup corn syrup
2 squares bitter chocolate
pinch of salt
1 cup black walnuts
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Boil together the sugar, cream, corn syrup, salt, and chocolate, until a few drops will form a soft ball when dropped in cold water. Remove from heat and cool. Add vanilla and beat. Add nuts and continue beating until stiff. Pour quickly into a buttered loaf cake pan. Let cool and cut into squares.
