3 or 4 firm apples
powdered sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. butter, melted
1 Tbs. milk
1 Tbs. sugar
pinch of salt
flour

Directions:
Directions:
Peel the apples, then slice them crosswise about 1/3 thick. Carefully remove cores. Sprinkle with powdered sugar, set aside. Mix eggs, butter, milk, sugar, salt, and enough flour to make a thin batter. Dip apple slices individually and fry in hot butter until tender and light brown.
