1 lb medium-sized mushrooms
about 6 tbsp olive oil (or half butter)
salt and freshly ground black pepper
2 tbsp dry red wine
3 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
1 small clove garlic, minced

Directions:
Directions:
Slice mushrooms in half. Heat olive oil in a medium sized frying pan. Add mushrooms, cover, and cook over medium high heat for about 10 minutes or until well browned. (Stir frequently; pour off excess liquid as it accumulates.) Season mushrooms with salt and pepper. Reduce heat; add wine, parsley, and garlic; cook and stir about 3 minutes more.
