12 roma tomatoes (peeled & drained)
(very ripe & chopped into 1/4" pieces)
1 c. red onion (chopped)
1/4 c. fresh garlic (chopped)
1 bunch fresh cilantro (chopped/crushed)
1 yellow pepper
1 red pepper
1 green pepper
1 jalapeno pepper (chopped)
(add one more, if you like a little hot)

1 tbsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. onion powder
1 tbsp. ground black pepper
1/2 tsp. cumin

1 fresh lime
1 fresh lemon

Other optional spices:
red pepper, hot sauce, cayenne pepper, taco seasoning

Combine all vegetables into one bowl.

Mix all spices together in a small, separate bowl; add to vegetables and mix.

Squeeze lemon & lime juice into salsa; mix well.

I have a friend that lived in Mexico for a couple of years, and she says "if you are not going to use "fresh" ingredients, don't even bother making this salsa!
