2 medium potatoes, sliced
2 medium onions, chopped
4 ribs celery, chopped
saute in 1-1/2 tsps. butter

Add:
boiling water to cover
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 bay leaf

Directions:
Directions:
Cook until vegetables are tender. Put them through a strainer or blender. Beat into them, 2 tablespoons butter. Thin soup to desired consistency with whole milk. Heat, but do not boil.
