"As viscous as motor oil swirled in a swamp, redolent of burnt bell peppers nested in by incontinent mice and a finish reminiscent of the dregs of a stale can of Coca-Cola that someone has been using as an ashtray. Not a bad drink, though."--Excerpt from "The Moose Turd Wine Tasting" by T. A. Nonymous

4 quarts red raspberries
1 pint vinegar
1 lb sugar for every pint of juice

Directions:
Directions:
To 4 quarts red raspberries add 1 pint vinegar. Let stand overnight or 24 hours or longer. Strain through a bag as for jelly and measure 1 lb sugar for every pint of juice. Boil about 5 minutes to make a thin syrup. Do not boil too long or it will turn to jelly. Bottle and cork--or any tight cap. Does not have to be sealed and will keep without refrigeration. When ready to use, pour about 2 tbsp in an 8 oz glass and fill up with cold water and ice for a delicious drink.
