2 1/4 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 cup Butter Flavored Crisco
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 large eggs
2 cups Nestle Toll House Semi-Sweet Chocolate morsels

Directions:

Preheat oven to 375 degrees

Combine flour, baking soda and salt in a small bowl. Beat crisco, sugars, and vanilla extract in large mixer bowl until creamy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in morsels. Drop by rounded teaspoon onto greased baking sheets. Bake for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown.

This recipe comes directly from the back of the package of Nestle's chocolate chips. I've included it because occasionally I buy different chips but always make this recipe.....it is the BEST. I have made a couple of adjustments, I use Crisco, not butter as the original recipe calls for and I always under bake them, so watch them carefully when in the oven, they are best if they come out still a little under cooked.
