4 eggs
2 c sifted all-purpose flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
2 c buttermilk (or 1 c sour cream with 1 c milk)
1 c melted butter

Directions:
Directions:
Beat eggs until light. Sift together flour, salt, soda, and baking powder. Add dry ingredients and buttermilk alternately to beaten eggs, beginning and ending with flour mixture. Add melted butter, and blend thoroughly. Bake in a preheated waffle iron until brown and crisp. Makes 4 cups of batter or approximately four large 4-section waffles.
