2 cups all purpose flour, sift, measure, sift twice more
2 cups sugar
6 eggs separated
1 teaspoon lemon flavoring
1 teaspoon vanilla flavoring
2 sticks butter, softened

Directions:
Directions:
Grease and flour tube cake pan. Cream butter until very soft and light. Add sugar slowly beating constantly. Add egg yolks one at the time, beating until blended after each addition. Add flavoring and beat until blended. Beat eggs whites until foamy, not stiff, and add alternately with flour and egg. Pour into pan, and bake at 350 for 1 hour.
