3-4 large ripe peaches
boiled water to cover
1/2 c sugar
1/4 c water
cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Place peaches in boiled water 12-15 minutes to soften skin--remove skin, halve and remove pits. Place in baking dish cut side up--boil sugar and water until syrupy--pour over peach halves, sprinkle cinnamon over peaches. Bake in 425 oven approximately 20 minutes. Baste with syrup while baking. Serve cold, plain or with cream.
