1 medium onion, diced
2 T butter
2 lbs ground beef, 90 percent lean
1/4 c tomato paste
1/2 c red wine
2 clover garlic, minced
1 1/2 tsp salt
pepper to taste
1/3 c grated Parmesan cheese
2 eggs
2 T bread crumbs
2-3 boxes of filo dough shells.

Directions:
In large frying pan, saute onion in 2 T butter until golden brown. Push onions to side of pan, add ground beef and brown meat. (don't drain meat). Add tomato paste, wine, garlic, salt and pepper. bring to boil. then cover and simmer for 20 minutes. Remove cover and cook down until thickened. let cool, then place in mixing bowl. Mix in cheese, eggs, and bread crumbs. Spoon into filo shells or pour into casserole dish. If in shells, bake at 350 for 15 minutes. If in casserole dish, bake for 30 minutes.
