3 (16 oz.) cans kidney beans
1 (15 oz.) can black beans (I sometimes use two.)

1 can diced tomatoes
1 -2 lbs. hamburger
2-3 Tablespoons Chili powder
2 (15 oz.) cans tomato sauce
Tabasco Sauce
black pepper to taste
olive oil

Directions:
Directions:
Chop onion. Put of it in the crock pot with a little bit of olive oil while the crock pot (5 or 6 quart size) heats up. (About 10 minutes) Wash and drain 2 cans of kidney beans and add to crock pot. Add black beans, with liquid. Add diced tomatoes. Stir well. Add the last can of kidney beans, with liquid. Cook the hamburger. When it is almost done, add the other half of the chopped onion and cook until the meat is fully cooked. Add to the crock pot. Add the chili powder, tomato sauce, black pepper, and a few dashes of Tabasco Sauce. Stir. Cook 6-8 hours on low heat. Serve with grated cheese, chopped green onions, sour cream, baked potatoes, lime wedges, and Tabasco Sauce.

Optional: If desired try adding chopped green, red, or yellow peppers when adding the meat.

Personal Notes:
We have tried many variations of chili, and ended up deciding that this was one of our favorites. I love using the crockpot, and this works really well in the crockpot.
