2 cup flour 4 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp salt 3 Tbs shortening 3/4 cup milk 6 baking apples cinnamon and nutmeg 1 cup sugar 1 tbs flour 1 cup boiling water 1 tbs butter

Directions:
Directions:
Sift dry ingredients cut in shortening add milk to form dough. Divide into 6 pieces. roll out each piece place whole apple peeled and cored. sprinkle 1 tbl sugar and dash of cinamon and nutmeg over each apple wrap dough around apples Put in greased pan bake 20 min at 350 Make a sauce by mixing 1 cup sugar with remaining ingredients pour over dumpling and bake another 10 min or until tender
