2 to 2 1/2 lb round or Swiss steak
1/4 cup flour
2 T oil
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1- 4 oz. can mushrooms (do not drain)
1 large onion sliced or 1/4 cup dry mince onion
1 can tomato soup
1 1/2 cups frozen peas

Directions:

Cut steak into 6 pieces. Coat with flour and brown on both sides in hot oil. Sprinkle with salt & pepper, add mushrooms with liquid, onion and tomato soup. Cover tightly . Simmer on top of stove or bake at 350 for 1 1/2 to 2 hours or until meat is tender. Add peas during the last 15 minutes.
