1 cup grated carrots
1 cup minced celery
1/2 cup minced onion
1-1/2 quarts chicken stock (6 cups)
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups milk
1/2 cup butter
1 cup flour
1 pound shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1/2 teaspoon white pepper
3 tablespoon Worchestershire Sauce

Directions:
Directions:
In large sauce pan boil carrots, celery, and onion in chicken stock until tender. Add milk and set aside. In sauce pan, melt butter. Add flour, pepper and salt and stir until well blended. Add this mixture to stock mixture. Heat through. Add shredded cheese and Worchestershire sauce. Simmer until 10 minutes on low heat.
