2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 T sugar
2 beaten eggs
1 1/2 cups milk
2 cups cooking oil heated to 375

Directions:
Directions:
You will need a funnel with a 1/2 inch spout. Combine dry ingredients in mixing bowl; set aside. Beat eggs and milk together, then stir into dry ingredients mixing well. Fill funnel with batter holding finger over spout. Place the funnel as close to the hot oil as possible and remove finger from spout, moving funnel in circular pattern (releasing batter into hot oil to form a circular cake about 3" in diameter. Cook cakes 2 to 2 1/2 minutes or until golden brown and puffy, turning once. Remove from oil, drain on paper towel. Sift with confectioners' sugar lightly over hot cake. Serve immediately. Continue making cakes until batter is all gone.
