Ingredients:
1 env. onion soup mix
1 tsp. basil leaves
1/4 tsp. garlic
1/2 c. melted butter
1/2 tsp. oregano
4-5 plain begals, sliced to 1/8 inch

Directions:
Blend the above mix and spread on both sides of the bagel slices. Arrange on baking sheets and bake @ 350 for 50 min. till crisp and golden. (That seems like a really really long time and I don't remember it ever taking that long, so watch..... maybe check after 20 or so???)

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
I make this for Christmas Eve, and it's yummy. It is very oniony, I have skipped the onion soup mix and used onion bagels instead of plain, it's a little less oniony. Also for a sweet treat try plain begals with cinnamon-sugar sprinkled on. Much much cheaper then buying begal chips from the store.
