2 cups cake flour
1 cup sugar
3 tsp. baking powder
2 eggs, well beaten
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 cup milk
1/2 cup softened butter
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Sift together the flour, baking powder and salt. cream butter, add sugar gradually and cream until fluffy. Add well beaten eggs stirring until mixture is blended.

Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with milk (in three stages) stirring well after each addition. Add vanilla.

Bake in 2 greased 9 inch layer cake pans - 375 25-30 minutes
