¾ cup of brown sugar
2 tbsp honey
1 cup warm milk
2 cups SR flour
pinch salt

Directions:
Directions:
Melt brown sugar and honey in warm milk in a saucepan over a low heat – doesn’t take long. Add SR flour and pinch salt. Cook Loaf tin in slow oven for 1 hour.

This is a great recipe for kids to make after school; Allison’s kids now love to make it. I used to crank up the heat a little to cook within half an hour but best if cooked slowly. This is the first recipe the children ask for when they leave home
