1 gallon pears, peeled, and sliced thin
2 cups sugar, or more
1 can crushed pineapple, drained

Directions:
Directions:
Place pears in a Dutch oven. Add sugar and simmer. Add pineapple. Simmer until pears are tender and pink, or about two hours. Place in sterile jars and seal.
