1 stick of butter
1 c. shredded carrots
1 c. diced onion
1 c. diced celery or 1 can cream of celery soup
2 potatoes - grated
1 small head of cabbage - shredded
2 cans chicken broth
1 c. water
salt to taste
8 oz. to 1lb VelvetaŠ cheese

Add all ingredients and simmer until tender.

You may double the carrots, onion, celery, and potatoes if you choose. It's also good to freeze.
