1 T. lard
1 lb. ground beef
1 large onion, chopped fine
1 green pepper. chopped
2 T. sugar
2 T. prepared mustard
1T. vinegar
1 tsp. salt
3/4 C. catsup or barbecue sauce, if not too hot

Directions:

Brown meat until crumbly, but not hard.
Cover and simmer slowly for 30 minutes. Serve on toasted buns or bread.
