crust for 9 in. shell
combine 1 1/2 C. all purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 C. lard
1/2 C. margarine
enough water to form a ball

Mix together 4 C. sliced apples
1/8 tsp. salt
1/4 C. white sugar
1 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
Put into unbaked pie shell and cover with streusel topping.

Streusel Topping
Mix well together 3/4 C. brown sugar
3/4 C. sifted flour
1/3 C. butter (not too soft)
Pour on top of apples and bake at 400 F. for 25 to 30 min.
