3/4 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup light molasses
1 beaten egg
2 cups flour
2 tsps. soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. ginger

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar; add molasses and egg; beat well. Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture. Mix well.
Roll in small balls; dip into sugar; place 2" apart on greased cooky sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. Makes 4 dozen cookies.
