2 lb. ground beef
1 med. onion (chopped)
2 T. chopped green pepper (optional)
1 envelope dry onion soup mix
1 #2.5 can tomatoes
1 #2.5 can kidney beans
3 T. chili powder
1 family style can of tomoto sauce
1 tsp. cumin

Directions:
Directions:
Brown meat, onion and pepper in large pot; stir in soup mix, chili powder and cumin. Add tomoatoes, tomato suace and kidney beans. Add 1 -2 cans of water. Cover; simmer over low heat from 1 to 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
