4 cups chicken broth
1 large package frozen broccoli (florets or pieces)
8 oz American Cheese, cheez whiz, or Velveeta
(Heavy cream or flour, if needed for consistency)

Directions:
Directions:
Bring broth to boil; add broccoli. Cover and cook until tender. Stir in cheese and melt. If it is too thin, add more cheese, or add 2 tbs flour and stir until thickened. If too thick, add heavy cream.
Serve as is, or use potato masher to mash broccoli.
