1 lb stewing veal
1 lb stewing beef
1/2 lb pork cubes
marrow bones
6 c water
3 chicken bouillon cubes
3 beef bouillon cubes
1arge onion stuck with a clove
4 leeks, cleaned, 1" long, cut in half
1 celery stalk, whole
1/2 lb carrots
1 pkg baby limas
Herb bouquet wrapped in cheesecloth:
3 parsley sprigs
1 small bay leaf
1/4 teas thyme
2 garlic cloves
4 peppercorns

Brown the meat and marrow bones. Put in dutch oven with remaining ingredients except carrots and lima beans. Cook until meat is tender. Remove bouquet garni. Add carrots and baby limas. Simmer 1/2 hour or until vegetables are done.
