14 oz bag of Kraft© caramels
1/3 cup evaporated milk
1 pkg German chocolate cake mix
3/4 cup butter, melted
3/4 cup nuts, optional
1- 6 oz pkg semi sweet chocolate chips
1/3 cup of evaporated milk

Directions:
Directions:
Melt caramels and 1/3 cup of evaporated milk in the microwave or double boiler. Grease 9x13 pan.

In a large bowl, combine cake mix, butter, 1/3 cup evaporated milk and nuts. Stir until it sticks together. Take half of dough and press in bottom of pan. Bake 6 minutes at 350 º.

Take out of oven and sprinkle with chocolate chips. Spread caramel over chocolate and crumble rest of dough over caramel.

Return to oven and bake for 16 to 18 minutes at 350º. Cool. Enjoy!
