1 cup flour
3/4 cup milk
3/4 cup sugar
2 dashes salt
2 tsp. baking powder
1 can fruit pie filling
1 stick butter/margarine

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in glass baking pan. Mix all dry ingredients, add milk. Pour mixture into melted butter, DO NOT STIR.
Drop in fruit filling. Any kind-apple, cherry, peach, etc. DO NOT STIR.

BAKE 50 MIN. IN 350 OVEN.

Many years ago when I was visiting Helen in CA. She and I went to visit Ruthie, Greg, & Girls, who at that time were living in San Diago. Ruthie whipped this desert together in no time and it was so delicious I never forgot it. I pestered her for the recipe until she mailed it to me. I still have the original in her handwriting. Try it, you will love it.
