1 3/4 cups SR Flour
2 Tablespoons Cocoa (rounded)
Pinch of Salt
˝ Teaspoon Soda
11/4 cups Sugar
4ozs (120g) very soft butter
1 cup milk
1 Teaspoon of vanilla
2 unbeaten eggs

Directions:
Directions:
Put all ingredients except eggs into a large bowl and beat for 2 minutes, add unbeaten egss and beat for a further 5 minutes. Pour into greased and floured Cake tin and cook 180 degrees or 375 F for 45-55 minutes

This is a deliciously rich and moist cake that I make for any special occasions especially children’s birthdays. To make it even richer, I add an extra tablespoon of cocoa and an egg.

A double mixture takes 1 hour and 25 minutes at 190-200 degrees C to cook.
