"When I'm at a Chinese restaurant having a hard time with chopsticks, I always hope that there's a Chinese kid at an American restaurant somewhere who's struggling mightily with a fork."--Rick Budinich

Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
2. In a large bowl, combine the egg, milk, cheese, oats, and salt. Add the ground beef, mixing well, and form this mixture into eight miniature meatloaves. Place these in a lightly greased 9 x 13 inch baking dish.
3. Bake, uncovered, for about 30- 45 minutes. While loaves start to bake, prepare the topping.
4. For the topping combine the ketchup, brown sugar, and mustard. Stir thoroughly and spread over the loaves halfway through the baking.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
As my student from Mediapolis who brought me the recipe said, "These are kill!" I agree.
Makes 8 servings. I like to use a meat thermometer to test for doneness. This recipe makes a lot of sauce, we don't always use the entire amount.
