1 c. brown sugar
1 c. butter
6 c. coarsely crushed Rice Chex cereal
1 c. almonds or pecans
1 c. flaked toasted coconut
1/2 gallon ice cream or sherbet

Directions:
Directions:
Melt brown sugar and butter over low heat; bring to a boil. Stir rice chex, nuts and toasted coconut into sugar mixture. Press half of mixture into 9 X 13" pan; chill this while you soften the ice cream or sherbet to spreading consistency. Spoon over crust and top with remaining crumbs. Press. Freeze. With ice cream serve with fresh or frozen fruit. With sherbet (I use rainbow) you don't need fruit.
