2 c. Scalded Milk
3 Tbsp. Flour
1/4 tsp. Salt
2 Eggs, Separated
3/4 c. Sugar
1 1/2 tsp. Lemon Juice
3 Bananas
Vanilla Wafers
1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
2 Tbsp. Butter

Directions:
Directions:
Sift together dry ingredients. Add beaten egg yolks and milk. Stir well and cook over low heat until thickened. Add butter and vanilla extract. Cool. Slice bananas and mix with lemon juice. Using 2 qt. casserole dish, layer alternately vanilla wafers, bananas, pudding. Beat egg whites until stiff adding 3T. sugar, one T. add a time. Top pudding mixture with meringue. Brown in 400 F. oven for 5 Minutes. Cool and serve.
