1/2 c. green pepper
chopped pimiento
4 oz. can of mushrooms (drain and save liquid)
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. oleo
1 1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. flour
1 1/4 c. chicken broth
1 tsp. salt
2 c. chicken

Directions:
Directions:
Drain the mushrooms and reserve the liquid. Cook and stir the green pepper and mushrooms in butter. Cook 5 minutes. Stir in flour, salt and pepper. Cook over low heat stir constantly till bubbly. Remove from heat. Stir in milk, broth and mushroom liquid. Heat to boil (grandma also adds 3/4c. green peas). Stir constantly for 1 minute. Add chicken and pimento.
