1 cup margarine
2 cups brown sugar, packed
2 eggs
1/2 cup cold coffee
3-1/2 cups sifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon
2-1/2 cups raisins
1-1/4 cups nuts

Directions:

Mix together margarine, brown sugar, and eggs until creamy and well blended. Stir in cold coffee. Sift together flour, soda, salt, nutmeg, and cinnamon and stir into batter, add raisins and nuts and stir until well blended. hill at least one hour. Drop round teaspoonfuls about 2 inches apart on lightly greased baking sheet. Bake at 400 for 8 to 10 mins or until set... when touched lightly with finger and almost no imprint remains
