1 c. sugar
1/3 c. water
1/8 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. light corn syrup
2 egg whites
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Combine sugar, water, salt, corn syrup, in a saucepan. Stir until well blended. Boil slowly without stirring until mixture will spin a long thread when dropped from a spoon, or when a soft ball forms. In another bowl beat egg whites until stiff. Pour hot syrup slowly over egg whites and continue beating until mixture will hold its shape. Add vanilla.
(This does not go crusty)
