4 lbs. corned beef
1 can - 10 1/2 oz. condensed onion soup
4 peppercorns
1 bay leaf
1 clove garlic
1/4 tsp. rosemary- crushed
6 carrots
6 potatoes
1 head cabbage - cut in wedges
3 tbsp. water
3 tbsp. flour

Rinse corned beef. Place in large heavy pan. Add soup (do not dilute) & seasoning. Cover and cook over low heat (or in a 350 oven) for 3 1/2 hours. Add carrots, potatoes & place cabbage on top. Cover & cook about 1 hour or until all ingredients are tender. Remove vegetables, bay leaf & meat. Blend water & flour until smooth. Stir slowly into broth. Cook until thickened.
