2 cups flour
3/4 cup sugar
3 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups milk
1 cup butter, melted (no substitutes)
1 teaspoon vanilla
fresh fruit, pwdered sugar, or syrup

Directions:
Directions:
In a bowl, combine flour, sugar, and baking powder.
In another bowl, lightly beat the eggs. To this add, milk, butter, and vanilla; mix well.
Stir into dry ingredients, until just combined.
Bake in a preheated waffle iron, according to manufacturers directions until golden brown.
Serve with fresh fruit, or syrup.

I like mine cristpy with nothing on them. We like to have these for supper sometimes. It makes the house smell great!
