2/3 cup half & half milk
1/3 cup white corn syrup
2 cups sugar
2 oz. unsweetened baking chocolate
4 tbsp. margarine
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 cup nuts - chopped

Directions:
Directions:
In a medium sized heavy saucepan cook milk, syrup, sugar, and chocolate over low heat, stirring constantly until sugar dissolves and chocolate melts. Continue cooking until mixture begins to boil. Place candy thermometer in pan. Raise heat slightly and continue cooking (do not stir) to 238. Remove from heat and add 4 tbsp. margarine. Move to a cool place until thermometer drops to 150. Add vanilla and beat with a spoon 1 1/2 minutes, or until mixture begins to lose it's sheen and thickens slightly. Add nuts and beat 15 seconds more. Quickly spread mixture into a buttered 8x8 inch pan. With a sharp knife cut fudge into squares. Cool.
